Welcome to BibliaPH. By downloading, installing, or using the BibliaPH app or any of our services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use BibliaPH.
BibliaPH is a Filipino Bible companion app. These Terms govern your use of the BibliaPH mobile application and all related features, including Bible reading, AI-powered chat, daily devotionals, and the Prayer Wall community.

You must be at least 13 years old to use BibliaPH. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you must obtain your parent or guardian's consent before using the Service. Under Philippine law (Republic Act 6809), the age of majority is 18.
BibliaPH is designed for personal, non-commercial use. Non-commercial use by churches, small groups, and registered non-profit religious organizations — such as Bible study facilitation or personal evangelism — is permitted, provided no revenue is generated from such use.
To use BibliaPH, you create an account with a display name and choose your Christian denomination. You are responsible for:
You may not create accounts using someone else's identity, offensive names, or names that impersonate public figures.
BibliaPH Plus is a paid subscription that unlocks additional AI chat modes (Pagalingin — Healing Prayer, Debosyon — Devotional Reflection, and Panalangin — Guided Prayer) and unlimited daily chat questions.
All subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play in accordance with their respective refund policies. BibliaPH does not directly process refunds.
BibliaPH offers a free tier with access to the full Bible, devotionals as published, Prayer Wall reading and posting, and limited AI chat (Magtanong mode, up to a daily question limit). We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits over time with reasonable notice.
If your content is removed or your account is suspended, you may appeal within 30 days by emailing support@bibliaph.app with the subject line "Appeal — [Issue]." We will review and respond within 15 business days.
The Prayer Wall is a sacred community space. By posting a prayer request, you agree that:
Anonymous posts replace your name with "Isang Kapatid." Please note that BibliaPH staff can view all Prayer Wall posts, including anonymous ones, for moderation purposes. We do not guarantee complete anonymity — your post content may still be identifiable to people who know your situation.
BibliaPH uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic) to generate Bible chat responses and daily devotionals. Please be aware:
The BibliaPH app, its design, logo, features, and original content are owned by BibliaPH and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
You retain ownership of prayer requests and other content you create. By posting to the Prayer Wall, you grant BibliaPH a worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content within the app for the purpose of operating the Service.
BibliaPH may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party sites. Links do not constitute endorsement.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BIBLIAPH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY PHILIPPINE LAW, BIBLIAPH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BIBLIAPH IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to defend and hold harmless BibliaPH and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) content you post on the Prayer Wall; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.
BibliaPH shall not be liable for any service interruptions or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, typhoons, internet outages, power failures, government-mandated service restrictions, or other force majeure events.
These Terms constitute an agreement between you and BibliaPH only, and not with Apple, Inc. Apple is not responsible for the BibliaPH app or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms govern solely with respect to Apple's own services.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to BibliaPH. Any claims relating to BibliaPH — including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation — are governed solely by these Terms and applicable Philippine law, not by Apple's rules.
You may stop using BibliaPH at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 6 through 12 of these Terms survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email with at least 30 days' notice before changes take effect. Continued use of BibliaPH after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
